Technical Information:

• Color type: Polyurethane.

• Coverage area per theory:
  • 9-10 square meters per liter per coat.
  • 35-40 square meters per gallon per coat.
• Touch dry time (temperature 25-30°C): 30-45 minutes.
• Recoat time (temperature 25-30°C): 4 hours.
• Full cure time (temperature 25-30°C): 7 days.
• Application method: Spray gun or brush.
• Pot life after mixing: 8 hours (in a closed container, tested at 25-30°C).
• Thinner: Polyurethane thinner, SHARK brand #88, or TEOA polyurethane thinner #41.
• Thinner mixing ratio: 20-30%.

Surface preparation:

• For old surfaces,
  • ensure they are clean, free from dust, grease, oil, salt, old paint, and any other contaminants.
• For new surfaces,
  • use sandpaper TEOA D.S.C. #240-320 to smooth the surface.
  • Fill and smooth any cracks, dents, or nail holes.
  • Sand again for a smooth surface.
  • Wipe the surface clean.

Painting system:

• Primer:
  • Apply the foundation with TOA Wood Preservative, 1 coat (let it dry for at least 30 minutes before applying the next coat)
  • Apply 1 coat of TOA Wood Primer #T2000 (let dry for at least 1 hour before applying the next coat).

• Topcoat:
  • Mix Polyurethane Type 1 from SHARK brand #S-3000 with Polyurethane Thinner #88.
    • For the 1st coat, mix 10 parts of color to 3 parts of thinner.
    • For the 2nd and 3rd coats, mix 10 parts of color to 1 part of thinner.
• Apply at least 3 coats of Polyurethane Type 1 from SHARK brand #S-3000 (allow at least 4 hours drying time before applying the next coat).
• Before applying the next coat, lightly sand the surface with TEOA D.S.C. #320-400 to improve adhesion and achieve a smooth surface.

Additional advice:

• Please refer to the precautions on the product container.
• The temperature of the workpiece should be above 10°C and at least 3°C above the dew point (temperature and relative humidity affect the workpiece and curing of the color film).
• Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated place, and keep the container tightly closed at all times.
• Avoid storing in hot places and direct sunlight.
• Work in an area with good ventilation.
• Wear a mask when spraying colors and try to avoid skin contact or inhalation.
• If color gets on the skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately and seek medical attention.
