Instructions for Use

General Roof Waterproofing System

1. Apply Sikalastic®-501 Roofseal Plus as the first coat at a rate of 0.7 kg/m².
2. Allow it to dry before applying the subsequent coat.
3. Apply Sikalastic®-501 Roofseal Plus as the top coat, applying 2 or more coats at a rate of 0.7 kg/m² or higher. Allow each coat to dry.

Reinforced Roof Waterproofing System

1. Apply Sikalastic®-501 Roofseal Plus and reinforce it with Sikalastic® Fleece, then apply the base coat.
2. Apply Sikalastic®-501 Roofseal Plus as the base coat at a rate of 0.7 - 1.0 kg/m².
3. Install Sikalastic® Fleece, ensuring a smooth surface without air bubbles or wrinkles. Overlap the fleece by at least 5 cm.
4. Apply Sikalastic®-501 Roofseal Plus as the base coat while Sikalastic® Fleece is still wet, at a rate of 0.3 - 0.5 kg/m². Apply each coat of Sikalastic®-501 Roofseal Plus while the surface is still damp.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 until the entire roof is waterproofed.
6. After both layers are dry, apply Sikalastic®-501 Roofseal Plus as the top coat, one or more coats, at a rate of 0.6 - 0.7 kg/m² per coat.

Additional Recommendations

1. Start waterproofing in detailed areas, such as corners, before applying waterproofing to the horizontal surface.
2. Do not apply Sikalastic®-501 Roofseal Plus at a rate exceeding 0.75 kg/m² per coat without reinforcement.
3. The mentioned values are theoretical and do not account for additional materials due to surface irregularities, surface conditions, variations between coats, and losses.
