Surface Preparation: Old Surfaces:

• Remove all deteriorated old paint completely (avoid using wire brushes)
• Repair any cracks with suitable materials such as putty or vinyl spackling compound
• Clean the mold and mildew-affected areas with mold-killing solutions, then allow the wall to dry for 1-2 days before applying the primer

New Surfaces:

• Ensure the surface is clean, free from dust, dirt, grease, and other contaminants
• Allow the surface to dry or have moisture content not exceeding 40%, verified using a Protimeter Mini Moisture Meter
• Repair any cracks or unevenness with high-quality materials or suitable surface fillers before applying the primer

Painting System: For old cement surfaces:

• Apply the oil-based primer using a roller, brush, or sprayer (1 coat)

For new cement surfaces:

• Apply the oil-based primer using a roller, brush, or sprayer (1 coat)

Topcoat:

• For exterior surfaces, apply the topcoat using Nippon Paint Weatherbond (2-3 coats) or for interior surfaces, use Nippon Paint Vinilex AirCare (2-3 coats)
