Technical Information

• Coverage: 35-40 square meters per gallon per coat.
• Tools: Brush, roller, or sprayer.
• Mixing ratio (by volume) - Color: Clean water (by volume):
  Brush/Roller: 3 - 4 : 1
  Sprayer: 2 : 1
• Drying Time:
  • Surface dry: Within 30 minutes.
  • Recoat Time: After 2 hours.

Surface Preparation:

• New Cement Surface:
  • Allow the new cement surface to dry for at least 1 month.
  • Clean the surface to remove dirt, dust, and efflorescence using a clean cloth, brush, clean water, or detergent solution.
• Old Cement Surface:
  • Remove the old deteriorated paint and areas with mold or excessive water stains using a solution of hypochlorite (bleach) and rinse with clean water until dry.

Primer Application:

• New Cement Surface:
  • Prime the surface with Sura Prime Cement Sealer, No. 7711 for interior or No. 8711 for exterior.
• Old Cement Surface:
  • Prime the surface with Sura Water-Based Primer, No. 987, or for maximum performance, prime with Sura Water-Based Primer, Fiber Cement (JBP ConTech-F Primer), No. 1000.

Topcoat Application:

• Apply 2-3 coats of Sura Acrylic Water-Based Paint.

Additional Recommendations

• Stir the paint well before use.
• Close the lid tightly when not in use and keep it out of reach of children and away from water sources.
• Use in suitable conditions with proper ventilation.
• Avoid contact with eyes, do not inhale or swallow.
• Avoid direct skin contact, and if contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water and soap.
• If the paint comes into contact with the eyes, rinse with a large amount of water and seek medical attention immediately.
