Surface preparation

• new cement surface
  • Leave the wall to dry completely for at least 1 month.
  • Clean it without dust, cement chips, dirt and grease stains with a cloth or brush (do not use a wire brush as it will cause rust). Rinse with clean water.
• old cement surface
  • Scrub and remove all worn-out filler paint. (Do not use a wire brush) for areas with mold or algae. Should be scrubbed clean with JBP MoldWash and left to dry for 3 hours without washing off. For surfaces with cracks Fill the caulk with an appropriate sealant. Then sand the surface smooth with sandpaper.

Primer painting

• new cement surface
  • Prime with JBP Smart Clean cement primer No. 7700 for the interior and Smart Coat primer No. 8700 for the exterior, 1 coat, or to maximize efficiency in waterproofing and blackening. To prevent salt deposits and fading, apply with JBP Multipurpose Primer No. 2000 (oil system), formula mixed with 1 coat of paint powder instead.
• old surface
  • Prime with 1 coat of JBP Chalky Wall Cement Surface Conditioner No. 900 or JBP Multipurpose Primer No. 2000 (oil system) formula mixed with 1 coat of color powder to increase the efficiency of adhesion on the old paint film.

Topcoat

• Topcoat with JBP Smart Clean acrylic paint for the interior and 2 coats of JBP Smart Coat acrylic paint for the exterior.
