Instructions for use:

• Substrate Preparation:
  • The surface must be strong, clean, free from dust, oil, and debris.
  • In the case of embedding steel bars or fastening screws, the material must be free from oil residue, rust, or scale.
  • For repair work, loose parts must be removed until reaching the sound portion.

• Steel embedding or threaded carving work.

  • The drilling hole must have a larger diameter than the embedded material, at least 20-30 mm.
  • The drilling hole should be at least 10 times the diameter of the steel's centerline, depending on the design and strength of the concrete.
  • If the drilling hole is larger than 50 mm, it can be mixed with chippings. However, this depends on the nature of the work and whether mixing is feasible, as the material will lose its flow properties. It may require tamping to allow the material to fully fill the void.

• Mixing
  • Mix LANKO 701 CLAVEX with clean water. The amount of water and the mixing ratio depend on the type of application.
  • It is recommended to mix with a mixer that has sufficient power and a rotation speed of approximately 500 revolutions per minute.
  • Continuously mix for about 3 minutes or until it forms a consistent mixture.
  • Let the mixture rest for 1-3 minutes.
  • Do not add additional water after mixing is complete.
• Preparation of material by mixing with chippings
  • Mix 10 liters (16 kg) of clean washed 3/8-inch chippings with 25 kg (1 bag) of LANKO 701 CLAVEX and clean water, following the water-to-cement ratio instructions.
  • Mix continuously for about 3 minutes or until it forms a consistent mixture.
• Usage:
  • Foundation work
    • After mixing, pour the material before it starts to harden, preferably in an environment with high ambient temperature. This will accelerate the material's curing process.
    • Pour the mixture from one side only to prevent the formation of air pockets inside.
    • In some cases, tamping may be necessary to fill large voids, but concrete vibrators should not be used as they may cause material stratification.
  • Steel embedding or threaded carving work
    • The concrete surface must be fully saturated and the area where the steel is embedded must be clean.
    • The surface should not have standing water during work.
    • Position the material to be embedded as desired and fill the hole with the mixed grout until it is full.
• Quantity for 1 cubic meter: 75 bags (25 kg per bag).
